Day 1 and Day 2 Key West Race Week
Day 1: Racing Canceled
With day 1 canceled due to high winds ranging from 25 -30 knots, gusting higher. This created unsafe conditions for some of the smaller boats. The race officials had hoped that conditions would stabilize but eventually decided that it was not worth risking damage to the boats on the first day of the race week.
Day 2:
At the end of Day 2, BarkingMad and Mean Machine (Peter de Ridder, Monaco) are tied for second with 10 points, three behind Mascalzone Latino skippered by Vincenzo Onorato of Italy.
They managed to fit in 3 races and Barking Mad finished twice in 3rd place and once in 4th.
